Welcome to Navigators 13. I am excited to welcome you all back. Check out this page for all things important and I can’t wait to have you in my class. Let’s make this year one to remember!

Important Things to know:
Year 6 needs to be at school for 8.30am and will finish at 3.15pm. Morning break is at 11am and lunch is at 12pm, so we recommend children either bring or buy a healthy snack to get them through till lunch time. We ask if parents can please wait with their child at the school gates until they are collected by their teacher. Year 6 have been allocated the main buzzer gates for drop off and parents are welcome to collect the children from outside their classroom at 3.15pm.

If you would like your child to walk home on their own, please ensure you have filled out, signed and returned the form to school. School dinners and milk now need to be paid for using Parent Pay. If you need a login for Parent Pay, please contact the office and they will be able to help.

P.E.
This half-term Year 6 have two P.E. Days. PE this half term will be on a Monday (Swimming) and Thursday (Kickboxing). All children should bring their P.E. kits into school to get changed into. Swimming costumes can be worn under uniforms if they like.

Reading
Reading is a hugely important part of our curriculum, and we ask that you aim to read with your child at least 3 times per week (and sign their reading diaries). Let’s get reading!

Homework
As we prepare for the end of Key Stage 2 assessments that take place in year 6 and work through our catch-up curriculum, pupils may receive additional homework as well as their usual weekly spellings and reading tasks. Spellings will be given out on a Monday and tested on a Friday.
