Our star of the week assembly went on twice as long as usual this week as there has been so much amazing work and sporting events happening. Children received certificates for taking part in a rugby competition (we won!) and also some children received their pen license’s. Well done everyone!
We had a great ‘star of the week’ assembly on a Friday. Was so nice to hear about all the good work and fantastic attitudes that these children showed last week. Our year 3/4 quad kids competitors were also happy to receive their certificates.
The children were treated to a visit from Westoe RFC Coach, John, this week, when he returned to school to present the children with their trophies from his rugby sessions this year.
All children from Years 2-6 took part in rugby as part of their PE lessons this year, and over the year John had been looking for 2 children in each year group who impressed him by working hard, showing resilience, or excelling in the sport.
Here are some photos from our wonderful rugby presentation celebration assembly!
We absolutely love a Friday celebration assembly and seeing all the smiling faces on our ‘stars’ of the week. Our golden coin winner was also particularly pleased with herself (quite rightly). We were also pleased to see that Mrs Goodwin’s class managed 100% attendance this week too.
Our children are very special and are all superstars, this week though some have gone above and beyond with their learning. Well done to this weeks ‘stars’ of the week and our special golden token winner. 🎉⭐️🌟
We had a busy busy day handing out award certificates today, we had our usual star of the weeks, our golden coin winner, 100% attendance certificates, sponsored reading awards and our Easter Egg winners! It’s so good to be able to celebrate all the amazing things that your children do each and every day. We hope that you all have a fab Easter break and see you in two weeks.
We love a Friday celebration assembly and especially so the golden token winner. How pleased does he look with himself?
